The Truth Part 1
First off, let me explain why this is so late. For safety reasons (laugh but you'll be thinking differently once you finish this article) I could not write on this topic until finally I was finished with Cerritos High School and could not be threatened or harrassed in any way, shape, or form. But just keep in mind, everything you read here is the truth. And that's a guarantee. (Note: Your definition of truth may vary from Mike Vail's. Guarantee not guaranteed.)

The icing on the cake:
Roughly around April of 1998 Kawamoto finally made her biggest mistake to date. She called in my good friend, William Tjipto into her classroom. She spoke with William quietly and asked him what was going on between me and a teacher. She asked him if he thought it was strange that I had a teacher as a friend and hinted at a sexual relationship between us. Then she tells William to never tell anyone about this conversation and that she trusted him not to. So of course William comes up to be 2 minutes later and tells me what happened. Interesting. Knowing how much my mom kicks ass I go home and tell her. Mom calls principle and Kawamoto and shoots a crazy promo on them. It was this event that pushed the envelope of things to come.

The History:
Kawamoto has disliked my sister from the first year she entered Japanese and till she quit after 3 years. Make no mistake about it, when I entered that class I knew I was a target - and boy was I right. Sure, there were times that I deserved to be introuble for talking out in class or whatever, and there were times when I did *absolutely* nothing wrong and was yet still punished. I'm not going to say that I was never guilty of anything because that is not true.

Perhaps the first thing that comes to my mind would be my first CPR report. Unfortunately I became very very ill one week and had to miss a whole week of school but was able to have my sister drop off the CPR report. Upon returning, I reminded Kawamoto that I had to do my report. She always told me to 'do it tomorrow' and she did that so much that by the time she let me do my report, I had forgot all about the restuarant I went to. Nonetheless I went and little did I know what was going to happen next. "What color was the floor? How many pictures were on the walls? What type of music was playing? What type of clothes were the waitresses wearing? What were the pictures like?" I'm not going to lie to you, but even if I did my CPR presentation the day after I visited that restaurant I couldn't of told you any of that. I had no idea we were supposed to know those things. What made me angry was the fact that I went with my friend Joe Lee to that restaurant, and during his CPR she never asked him those questions. Hmmmmm.. Fishy

I find this hilarious but the next unfair treatment came on my 2nd CPR report. Ha! I did the Japanese Art Museum. I loved how all of a sudden all my flyers and brochures were 'missing or gone' and how Kawamoto said 'How can you prove you went, I don't see any brochures or tickets.' haha man that was great. They had 'mysteriously' disappeared. I can still recall the comment made on my CPR paper '20/50 This is a gift. You are lucky I'm giving you this much. I have no evidence that you even went to this museum' hahaha YEA!! I paid someone to go there! HOW DID YOU KNOW?

10th grade - things just got uglier

Kawamoto became even weirder on some days she'd be tolerable and others she'd be a witch. What was worse, she'd never teach us anything. This is the key important factor that will explain some stuff later. Anyway, since I was a member of the Interact Club the more I saw Kawamoto the worse it became. She'd always get upset with me for talking with my friends William and Joseph Ha after school during the yogurt sale - haha she'd tell me to buzz off. Don't know why tho.

Make ups... Let me explain these to you, if you miss a day in Japanese class whether it be absense or school related - you had to come back after school on assigned days and stay 45 minutes. YES THAT IS GAY! I can't beleive they can require you to do that. Anyway, one particular time I was being tutored during make-ups and yosuke was just talking loud. I was being tutored by Kay Izumihara and Yosuke was tutoring someone I can't recall. Anyway, Kawamoto comes back in and hears Yosuke laughing - so she kicks out Yosuke 35 minutes into the tutoring (they get credit for that) without credit then looks at me and kicks me out and tells me I have to come back another time and re-make up the make up. Uhm. GAY!!!!!

Candy sale. That was one thing we had to do in Interact was sell bags of candy. What made this particular event significant was the lip I got from Kawamoto when I said a comment as a joke. The reason she took offense to this was because I had her for homeroom. Now, they had some PTA thing where you *donate* money to the PTA and the homeroom who has the most people donate wins free pizza. Well there were 4 people in my class who didn't donate - me being one of them. Kawamoto really wanted that pizza (if you saw her you'd know why HA!) and 2 of the other guys said they wouldn't pay if I didn't so I sure as hell wasn't going to. She kept waiting and waiting and took 10 mins of class to convince me to pay. I wouldn't. "FINE!" hahaah what a baby. She then lays on the lamest guilt trip that had my laughing more than anything. So how does this connect to the candy sale? Simple, I said the comment of 'Instead of selling this candy for $.50 i'm going to sell it for $1.00' and the funny part was, I WASN'T EVEN TALKING TO HER. Of course, she butts in and says 'Well that doesn't surprise me since you're so stingy with your money.' Suddenly the mood just changed 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?' She didn't reply... Interesting
