"God" does not exist in the world that human beings live in. "God" does not exist anywhere. "God" is a figment of the human mind's imagination created to help people's lives. "God" gives people a reason to live, and to continue on with their lives. "God" shuns away the actual action of suicide or murder. "God" is an excuse for people to blame their mistakes, and displacement of anger upon.
Prayer to "God" is worthless, and a waste of time. Granted, there are documented cases where "miracles" occurred after prayer. But why does prayer only work some of the time? If "God" listened to every single selfish plea and concern, why would people become sick and die? Prayer does not work. It is mere coincidence that people were able to pray and receive what they asked for. For example, pretend I prayed for an "A" in Art History to appear on my report card. My report card arrives and under Art History is a big fat "A." Does this mean that "God" answered my prayers from heaven, and that he cares about me? Does this mean he exists? How come if I pray for an "A" in other classes, the results are not the same? The reason is that praying accomplishes nothing but hope and anxiety. When "God" does not answer a prayer, 99% of the time I am assuming, the common excuse is that "God" wanted the event to occur that way, the right way. "God," people who pray to you are waiting for you to respond, will you?
"God" and "angels" seemed to have communicated with ordinary people in the past. Why is it that now when technology is more advanced than ever, they never appear or we never hear their voice? It seems that all these "stories" in the Bible are simply that, stories; nothing more and nothing less. I do not see people walking on water, I do not see people breaking fish into millions of pieces to feed the masses, I do not see people turning water into wine, and I do not see people healing the blind and crippled with a touch of the hand. Why do people even become blind or crippled in the first place? It must be the work of "Satan!"
If "God" existed there would simply be no Satan. "God" is supposively an all-powerful-all-loving "God" that could destroy the world with a sneeze. If that were the case, there would be no "Satan". "God" would have destroyed him before "Satan" could amount to anything that he has become to day. The only reason "Satan" is mentioned is for human beings to excuse their actions, and put the blame on a fictional "devil" rather than themselves. The blame for all mistakes, all errors, and all wrongful-doings are based solely on human beings. It is possible to conclude that "God" loves everyone, including "Satan" but he does not approve of what "Satan" does. Granted that may be true, but why would "God" destroy human beings, and not "Satan?" Human beings were destroyed in the great flood except for Noah and his family, which brings up a good question. During World War II, why did "God" never come out and destroy the entire world? It appears to me that the killing of millions of innocent Jews, and the millions of soldiers, refugees, and innocent children who died in that war is far worse than anything the world has seen so far. I would think that "God" would of done something to punish humans for doing such an ignorant thing. I find it coincidence that the A-bomb, hydrogen bomb, and Aids virus immerged after the war. It is neither possible nor comprehensible to think that "God" developed these three killing machines to get even with his people's wrong doings. People are barbaric but they, well the majority, do not eat each other. They are not some type of large animal that lived thousands of years ago.
The Bible claims to start from the beginning of time. I find it comical that the Bible never mentions anything whatsoever about the Dinosaurs. Through scientific research there has been proof that Dinosaurs have lived over 65 billion years ago. Why would the Bible leave out these huge creatures? Would it possibly be the fact that when the Bible was finished, people had yet to discover fossils of prehistoric animals? Clearly, the discovery of the dinosaurs came over a thousand years after "Jesus" walked the earth. It is clear why they are not listened in the Bible, because the authors who made up the stories to write in them never knew they existed.
For a "God" that created everything that exists in the world, and continues to do as we create new things, "God" sure did a weak job creating human beings. There are several improvements that "God" could of made in human beings. The food chain for instances, is one of the dumbest and barbaric ideas ever in the history of dumb ideas. God should of made human beings like plants. When humans become hungry, they can simply walk outside and have the sun hit them and soak up the nutrients and solar power.
"God" is a figment created by the weak. Too many people who put their lives into following his word were persecuted. Many Asian countries destroyed missionaries and executed priests and "Christ-converted" people. Why would "God" let all these people down? Why would "God" allow all these people who believed in him, worshiped him, and lived by his word meet such cruel deaths? Simply put because "God" does not exist. If people believe that once death comes, life is over and there is no after life, many people would commit suicide. Instead of dealing with their problems, dealing with situations that are incredibly difficult for them to handle, human beings would simply take their life or the life of others knowing there would be no penalties in the afterlife. These empty threats were created thousands of years ago to keep people in order. People want to believe that they lived a good life for a reason. People want to believe that they have a purpose for living. People want to believe that they should be rewarded for their hard work, and improvement of the lives of other humans around them. Human beings are stupid. If human beings just realized there was no purpose in life and respected nature around them, perhaps the world would be a better.
"Well then, why do people like you, who do not believe in 'God,' still continue to live?" Nice rebuttal, but naturally I cannot speak for everyone. For me, the reason I continue living, is due to the fact that if I were to take my own life, many people who love me or care about me, would be hurt by such a thing. As a result, the reason why I'm alive is due to the fact that I love my friends and family, and I would not want to hurt them. My friend, who does not believe in "God," finds purpose to live by wanting to find a purpose to live. Instead of giving up, because he feels his life is empty, he'd rather spend his life searching for a purpose. As a result, it gives him a purpose to continue. Other people find money, becoming rich a type of purpose to live. Everyone sees it differently I guess.
Why am I bitter towards Christians? During my high school graduation, I sat in utter disgust as a fellow classmate stood up and gave a speech. Daniel Kim, senior class president, stood in front of the entire senior class, while thousands of parents and family watched in the stands, and degraded my entire four years of high school work. "First, let us all thank 'God' for helping us through this four years. We could never of done this without him." What I dislike most about this is the fact that people will not give credit where credit is due. If someone does something incredible, like winning the long jump in the Olympics, that person will always say that he or she could not of done the jump without "God." Take credit for what YOU do. YOU did the jump. YOU trained for it. "God" does not exist! Stop crediting him! Most importantly, stop taking credit away from ME! I passed high school, because I put effort (well that might be a lie) but I got myself through it!
If all this bad mouthing of "God" guarantees that once I die, I will be reincarnated in hell for eternal pain and suffering, then look out New Jersey, here I come! Nuk-Nuk J
